  • Personal statement that reflects your interest in industrial/organizational (I/O) psychology program and in our program, specifically. Your essay should not exceed 2000 words, and it should be organized in a well-written format that clearly addresses all of the following questions:
    • Why are you interested in the MS I/O psychology program?
    • How do your interests in I/O psychology relate to your career goals?
    • Describe any experiences that have prepared you for success in our program.
    • Explain how your knowledge, skills, and abilities align with our program and our program’s mission statement.

If admitted, all DNP students must comply with applicable institutional or organizational policies regarding vaccinations, drug testing, and background checks required for completion of DNP Project and Practicum experiences.

Post-Baccalaureate Certificate In Nursing Administrative Leadership

  • Current Résumé
  • Professional Statement (no more than two pages, single spaced in length). Statement should highlight relevant work history and immediate and long term professional goals as an advanced-practice nurse. Statement should also demonstrate an understanding of the scope of an advanced-practice nurse and be specific to the MSN track selected.
  • Three Letters of Recommendation: It is preferred that the applicant submit a variety of references (one from a nurse practitioner, one from a college-level faculty member who has had them in class or was a program advisor, and one from a current or recent supervisor/employer). However, if attaining any of these specific types of references proves to be a hardship, the committee will consider three strong nursing-related references.

  • BSN from a regionally-accredited institution and a CCNE, CNEA, or ACEN accredited nursing program
  • Minimum grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 on 4.0 scale on the last 60 hours of undergraduate coursework.

Post-Baccalaureate Certificate In Supply Chain Management

Applicants must submit official transcripts from an earned baccalaureate degree from a regionally-accredited institution of higher education with a minimum 3.00+ GPA. The GPA requirement may be waived for applicants that meet any one of the following criteria:

  • At least three years of significant managerial or military experience
  • Beta Gamma Sigma membership
  • An earned terminal degree (e.g. DBA, PhD, JD)
  • Hold an active CPA license

Please note, to be eligible to receive the certificate, students must attain a minimum 3.00+ GPA.

Management Certificate

  • Upon admission into the program you must submit the Management Certificate Application and a $25 processing fee

Post-Master’s Certificate in Nursing

  • Prior to entering any of the clinical courses, applicants must have completed the following courses at the graduate level: pathophysiology, pharmacology, health assessment, and research (evidence-based health).*

*If needed, these courses may also be completed at Florida Southern College.
