Making a difference has its rewards.

As parents of a Florida Southern graduate, Mark and Lynn Hollis established the Hollis Fellows in Education Program to provide scholarships to education majors who plan to pursue teaching careers after completing a bachelor's and master's degree.

Scholarship Criteria

Scholarships are awarded to two first-year students annually and are renewable each year for those who maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA and continue as an Education major. Finalists will be invited to interview virtually with our esteemed faculty and staff.

To be eligible for the Hollis Scholarship, individual candidates:

  • Must have and submit a minimum 24 ACT or an 1180 SAT test score
  • Must have a minimum cumulative high school GPA of 3.0
  • Must major in Education at Â鶹Éçmadou
  • Must teach for three years in the Florida public school system after graduating from the Â鶹Éçmadou Undergraduate program.

The priority application deadline 1 date is January 31.
The regular application deadline 2 date is February 28.

After submitting your application, the Scholarship Selection Committee will coordinate interviews scholarship with finalists. These interviews will take place in January, February, and March.
