Book was a “Brees” for Â鶹Éçmadou Professor

Florida Southern College Adjunct Professor Mike Nabors is an expert when it comes to interviewing former New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees.
Mike, who teaches Sports Innovation and Entrepreneurship for the College’s Barney Barnett School of Business and Free Enterprise, has spoken to Brees, a future NFL Hall of Famer, nearly 300 times over the past 14 years.
With that much access and experience talking with Brees, the next logical step was to write a book. That’s just what Mike did, as The Brees Way chronicles those interviews and delivers insights from not only Brees but also his teammates throughout the years.
Mike is the founder and CEO of Nabors Media Group, a full-scale video and multimedia marketing production company that serves more than 30 clients ranging from Fortune 500 companies to nonprofit organizations.
Before working with the Saints and Brees, Mike amassed plenty of experience as the host for Tampa Bay Lightning coverage for Sun Sports. He was also the Sports Director for Tampa Bay’s WB38 station, which covered the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Tampa Bay Rays, and Florida’s major collegiate teams.
Mike first got started teaching at Florida Southern in the fall of 2021. After one semester of being involved on campus, Mike talked with the Dean of the Barnett School of Business and Free Enterprise Michael Weber, Ph.D., about other courses to offer, resulting in a course of Business Media in Sports coming in March 2022.
Mike stated that after meeting Dean Weber, he liked the faculty and how the department was run. He believes Florida Southern is the right fit for him.
